Become a Comfortable,
Gender affirming voice training targets any aspects of your speaking and singing voice's expressed voice sex and gender that you want to modify- power, resonance, pitch, vocal weight, breath, melody, tone, tilt, projection, control, vegetative sounds- if it's a sound you can make, we can teach you to modify it to fit you.
OUR 3 STEP PLAN FOR YOUR IDEAL VOICE
BEYOND BINARY VOICE TRAINING
Non-binary voices can be distinct from masculine or feminine perceived voices. Many non-binary, agender, and gender diverse people choose to speak with an androgynous melody pattern and mid-pitch range that de-emphasizes gender. Some gender fluid people, or transgender people who are not out in some settings, prefer to be able to shift between masculine and feminine voices. We provide a safe, affirming, creative space to explore gender and voice and develop new vocal techniques to express yourself authentically. Changing your voice can be important to your transition and you don't have to do it alone. We're ready to offer the guidance and tools you need to help you develop your healthy, confident voice. Our voice specialists include three community members who are happy to help you with your voice- Tallulah identifies as non-binary, Zoe identifies as agender, and our vocal coach Fiona identifies as a trans woman.
Voice dysphoria can be experienced by anyone of any gender. For example, we can help you change your perceived voice age or identity, or help you match your speaking patterns to your workplace's expectations. If your voice isn't serving you, we're happy to help.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
When I am at work, with people who don’t know me, and are only going off of my voice, people hear my gender in my voice. It didn’t use to be that way, and being misgendered all of the time made me a cross between mad and depressed. Now that all of these strangers code my voice correctly I’m validated at work, I feel more confident, I feel euphoric, I feel better. I feel a lot more comfortable now. I can’t use a masc voice anymore, because I don’t have one. I love that. I know you say it was me, that I did the work, but you made it possible. Thank you Tallulah.
I've been working with Tallulah for several months now. I think she's one of the most kind, caring and knowledgeable professionals I have ever worked with in a therapeutic setting. She helped me develop a bunch of skills to change the gender of my voice and took my limitations and my uniqueness into account in stride. She knows her craft really well, knows how to teach it really well and adapts it to the individual in meaningful ways until it clicks for them. She's an absolute gem of a human being and I can't say enough good things about her or recommend her enough to others.
The workshop was very good. Tallulah answered my questions along the way and clarified as I needed. There is a lot of technical information that is hard to conceptualize, even with my extensive voice background. She was patient and worked with me, matching my learning style until I understood.
I've reached a point where my voice no longer automatically clocks me as female. I've become more comfortable hearing my own voice. I'm motivated to use my voice often and hopefully eventually always.
Thank you for the work you are doing with our daughter. She is really happy with your services and so are we! You have motivated her to find and use her voice in a way that hasn't happened before. We have been so impressed and pleased with everything you are doing for her and want others to benefit from your service!
I've noticed my pitch is higher all the time and now I have muscle memory of what it feels like to speak more femininely.Your therapy has helped me understand all the factors of what makes a voice feminine. You are so kind with your patience. I've been ma'amed more and my voice sounds better than before therapy. "
